It is one of the most amazing scene of Mahabharat, where Arjuna disrobed Karna infront of everyone in final battle
Arjuna broke Karna's special armour into 1000 piece by using some ordinary arrows and Karna became naked infront of everyone
Stuff:- Then Arjuna sped ninety arrows, each resembling the rod of Death at Karna. Deeply pierced with those shafts, Karna trembled like a mountain riven with thunder. The head-gear of Karna, adorned with costly gems and precious diamonds and pure gold, as also his earrings, cut off by Dhananjaya with his winged arrows, fell down on the earth. The costly and bright armour also of the Suta's son that had been forged with great care by many foremost of artists working for a long time, the son of Pandu cut off within a moment in many fragments. After thus divesting him of his armour, Partha then, in rage, pierced Karna with four whetted shafts of great energy. Struck forcibly by his foe, Karna suffered great pain like a diseased person afflicted by bile, phlegm, wind, and fever.
EVERYONE BEHELD THE NAKED BODY OF KARNA AFTER FINAL BATTLE
Stuff:- The foremost of Kuru heroes also, having beheld that wonderful battle between Dhananjaya and Adhiratha's son, which had inspired all living creatures with dread, proceeded (to their nightly quarters), filled with wonder and applauding (the encounter). Though his armour had been cut off with arrows, and though he had been slain in course of that dreadful fight, still that beauty of features which the son of Radha possessed did not abandon him when dead.
MISCONCEPTION:- ACCORDING TO BORI MAHABHARAT, ARJUNA BREAKING KARNA'S ARMOUR IS INTERPOLATION. LOL
Nowadays Karna fans became frustrated after seeing the pathetic disrobing of Karna by hands of Arjuna , so they are propagating the lie that According to Bori, Arjuna never disrobed Karna in battle but dont worry , i will expose all lie of Karna fans
CRITICAL EDITION OF MAHABHARAT, KARNA PARVA- SECTION 66
Debroy translation:- Arjuna shot ninety arrows at Karna and each of them was like Yama’s staff. Those arrows severely mangled his body, like a mountain shattered by thunder. The crown on his head was decorated with gems anddiamonds and he wore excellent earrings. These were severed by Dhananjaya’s arrows and fell down. His radiant and excellent armour was carefully crafted by the best of craftsmen over a long period oftime. It was extremely expensive. In an instant, Pandava shattered this into many fragments with hisarrows. Having deprived him of his armour with those excellent arrows,he then angrily struck himwith four arrows. Distressed and struck by his enemy, he was like a diseased person, suffering frombile, phlegm, wind and wounds.
ACCORDING TO BORI MAHABHARAT TOO, EVERYONE BEHELD THE NAKED BODY OF KARNA AFTER FINAL BATTLE
Debroy translation- Karna parva-section 68
Stuff:- The foremost of brave ones among the Kurus had witnessedthe terrible encounter between Dhananjaya and Adhiratha’s son, destructive of lives. They wereamazed. Now that it was over, they praised it and departed. The brave one’s armour had been shatteredby arrows. He had been slain in the battle. Radheya had lost his life. But his beautydid not desert him.
MISCONCEPTION:- GANDHARI DESCRIBED DEADBODY OF KARNA WITH HIS ARMOUR, SO ARJUNA DID NOT BREAK ANY ARMOUR OF KARNA . LOL
EXPOSING :- so what If Gandhari mentioned deadbody of Karna with his armour ? By the way …statement of Gandhari is latter event AND value of latter event is nothing infront of actual event
I also gave the reference from latter event that everyone beheld the naked body of Karna after final battle so dont weep here on the basis of latter event.
3rd thing that snake Ashwsena had already destroyed Arjuna's diadem but when Arjuna was launching the final Anjalika astra on Karna, at that time he was described as diadem decked then according to logics of Karna fans, Ashwsena breaking Arjuna's diadem is interpolation. lol
BORI MAHABHARAT- KARNA PARVA-SECTION 67
Debroy translation:-Stuff:- Kiriti cheerfully said, ‘Let this arrow bring me victory.’ Wishing to slay Karna, bring about his end and convey him to Yama, he released the arrow, which was as radiant as the sun and the moon. Cheerfully, so that he could be conveyed towards victory, the one with the diadem and the garland shot the arrow. It was as radiant as the sun and the moon. He harboured feelings of enmity and wished to slay his enemy.
FROM KMG MAHABHARAT:-
Stuff:- And the diadem-decked Partha, desirous of slaying Karna, with great cheerfulness, said, "Let this shaft conduce to my victory. Shot by me, let this arrow possessed of the splendour of fire or the sun take Karna to the presence of Yama." Saying these words, Arjuna, decked with diadem and garlands, cherishing feelings of hostility towards Karna and desirous of slaying him, cheerfully struck his foe with that foremost of shafts which was possessed of the splendour of the sun or the moon and capable of bestowing victory.
SO IT IS CLEAR LIKE WATER THAT ARJUNA AVENGED DRAUPADI'S VASTRAHARAN BY DISROBING KARNA.
Om Namo shivaay
Om Namo Narayana
Om Namo Dhananjaya
